Built by artisans. From cut to finish, this garment incapsulates everything Uncommon Man believes a garment should be. The balance of proportion with the honest natural lines of the body, together with details such as a light construction and generations of regional heritage. It is soft and light, not a style but an attitude.
Brown 'Serge' Sunglasses
Serge by The Reference Library, in Brown with a Pale Green lens, encapsulates our international agenda, a search for inspiration. Milan’s coffee bars, Tokyo’s jazz clubs and Parisian streets are all evoked in this pair of sunglasses that are subtly different in a rich chocolate colour.
All our frames can be fitted with prescription lenses by your own or any optician and are made from Italian acetate sourced from historic Italian maker, Mazzuchelli. Their reputation is unequaled for providing the highest standard of acetate which comes from the natural resource, the wood resin from spruce tree's. Stainless steel hinges, we bring from Italy's Northern neighbour, Germany, are also of the best standard. Each pair is hand finished by our frame makers, who also fit the lenses and are highly regarded as the best in their field.
The chocolate brown presentation box, features a custom typeface in gold. The inspiration for the font, the Library signs spread across Britain in the 1950's and 1960's. Inside the box, a mint green branded cleaning cloth is found inside the brown leather case the sunglasses arrive in.
