At Uncommon Man, we favor a higher rise and fuller cut to elongate the legs and create a taller, slimmer silhouette - which surely, can’t be a bad thing?
OUR THREE MODELS
The Ideal tailored trouser. Our David model is all about the lines. A strong single pleat directs the eye from top to bottom making for a crisp crease. The David is our standard trouser for nearly all tailoring models. Named after David of Michelangelo.
A direct reference to chinos oftenissued to service men& women of the US armed forces. This simple, flatfront, utilitarian style also became popular with artists& designers of the 1950/60s. Especially the trouser's namesake Charles Eames.
This eye-catching pattern has double pleats, a full cut and a naturally high waist giving the legs a sharpblade-like shape... meant to recall the classic shapes of the mid 20th century. Lovingly named after American Racing Icon, motorsports legend and Dallas boy Carroll Shelby.
